Sophie Goes Vintage

The time comes when you just have to say, "like it or not, it's finished".......  I've worked on this card for 4 days and redone it 5 times and still not happy, but it's done and now I can move on to something else.  I love this Sophie on Timber stamp by Elisabeth Bell from Elphine House Australia and been dying to color her.  Going to have to get out my CMC Copic Lesson disks and start practicing my coloring again.  Amazing how when you don't color for awhile your hands don't want to do what you tell them to do....

The challenge today at Elphine House Australia is to create a Vintage style card. You may use ANY Elisabeth Bell design for your card.

If you are using a stamp that is an Elphine House Stamp, You will win 2 stamps of your choice from EHA.  If you use an Elisabeth Bell design from any of the other companies, your prize will be 1 stamp from EHA and will come to you as a surprise package. EHA will choose the stamp for you.

You definitely want to stop by the challenge blog to see all the wonderful cards made by the DT to help inspire you.  They are gorgeous and you sure don't want to miss seeing them.

I'm entering the following challenges with this card:
Anything Goes - Anything Goes
4 Crafty Chicks - Pearls

Thanks so very much for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon.
"Love & Hugs",  Carol (Granny)

This has to be a case of "being your own worst critic," Carol. It's magnificent! Love your sponging around the edge of the die cut mat, and those ribbon flowers are wonderful. The bow with the rose finishes the card just perfectly.

As artists we are sometimes too critical of ourselves! This is beautiful from the beautiful background you created to the lovely glitter on her gloves and bow on her gown! I love it!
