Christmas in July with Herb

Whoopie...........I think I'm getting on a roll. 3 Posts in one week........lol

Here is my card for the Christmas in July #69 challenge over at the Cute Card Thursday blog. Just click on the link to join in. It's my first challenge and I'm so excited............
Thanks again to WOJ for the sketch Challenge #38 that was used for this card.

The printed background paper is from Hobby House in the UK and the solid papers are Bazilla. I used Copics for coloring, Spica Red, Silver and Black pens; red brads and Prima poinsettias and Friskars pine cone border punch for embellishing; Spellbinder's nestabilities were used for Herb and the sentiment.
This is soooooooo much fun!!!! I hope you are enjoying my blog because I'm sure having a lot of fun doing it and I'm learning so many new things. A special thanks to all those bloggers I visit and learn so much from. Thanks so much for visiting and please come back soon.

Wedding Gift Box

A big thanks to Katharina Fei over at WOJ for the inspiration to create a wedding gift box for my beloved grandson and his beautiful new wife to be. Thanks so much Katarina...... I've just got to stop doing so much blog hopping and tend to more posting on my own blog if I ever want anyone to visit or come back.........lol

I picked up this cute little wooden box at Michael's on sale. The stamped image is from WOJs new collection. If I say so myself, this collection is a "must have". The paper is from K&C and my stash, the coloring is done in Copics, and I've used Flower Soft, pearls and lace, Prisma flowers, and two charms, one says Love and the other is a double heart. I made a small monogram for the back of the carriage with their initials on the computer. The sentiment on the inside top of the box is from ODBD. As soon as I've completed the card that goes inside along with some other items I'll be sure and post the money folder for you to see.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you leave me a comment and come back soon.
