Camilla and Maja Vintage Autumn Basics and Some News

Here is the new gorgeous Vintage Autumn Basics Collection from Maja Designs being given away by the amazing Camilla at Cards by Camilla.  You have until September 30th to enter.  I know I can't hardly wait for this collection to be available to purchase.

I know it's been forever since I've designed and posted a card but I've had so much going on in my personal life everything else has taken a back seat.  I keep up with most of you, and those of you that are on FB, even if I don't leave a comment or take the time to say "Hi".

To my wonderful teamies from Christmas Cards All Year Round and Elphine House Australia, I apologize for not sharing all of the information when I stepped down.  In the last six weeks my husbands Alzheimer's has progressed, my youngest son (48) had a heart attack while working in Georgia, and I've been diagnosed with breast cancer. Will be having a mastectomy next week or the week after.  My oldest son who has been living in Texas for the last several years is coming home tomorrow, will stay until I get back on my feet, and I'm hoping it's really soon.  He can work from home, which is wonderful!

I've been coloring some and found the My-Besties big eye images are so much fun to color that I can't hardly wait to be making some cards with them.

Thanks so very much for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon.
Sending you all my love, hugs, and prayers.
Carol (Granny)

Oh Carol, I am so very sorry to hear all of your news. I feel so bad as I have not been a very good friend and checking in. I have been selfish and self absorbed with my going ons this summer and not blogging very much.
Please know you are in my prayers, I love you my good and kind friend.
hugs.........

Those are hard times indeed! I hope all will go well and be well!
Wishing you lots of strength and succes with the upcoming surgery, and may you be on your feet soon!
Don't worry about the online community, all we have is words and maybe some even a card, it's your family, those who are near you and can give you a real hug, who are most important.
Here's a virtual one, nevertheless:
hugs,
Debbie / Daqa.

I haven't been spending a lot of time on the computer this summer, happened to check in on you tonight...Carol, my heart goes out to you. Thank heaven for family...don't rush yourself, take the time to heal up before you get back on the roller coaster, otherwise you'll just get to start all over again at the end of the line. Will be thinking of you, sending large virtual hugs!
