Let's Hear It For The Boys

Been having a wonderful time coloring and playing in my little shack the past few days.  Needless to say, I've fallen in love with little Tommy -Tell Tale of Ice Cream from Elphine House Australia.  He is colored with Copics on Neenah white card stock and matted on SU Old Olive (I have no clue the name of the orange).  The DP is from the Bo Bunny Ad Lib Collection.. The additional ice cream cones are from one of Elisabeth Bell's collection for WOJ that I've also colored with Copics.  I've used a previous sketch from Wags and Whiskers that I just couldn't pass up using but too darn late to enter the challenge.....BoooHooo

The new challenge at Elphine House Australia is "Let's Hear It For The Boys".  You have until March 4th to enter using any Elisabeth Bell image from any source.  We'd love to have you play along with us and can't wait to see your amazing creation using the theme "Let's Hear It For The Boys".  Be sure you stop over at the challenge blog to see what gorgeous creations my team mates have to inspire and share with you.

Challenges I'm entering:
Gee, it seems like forever since I've chatted or shared much and tonight is a slow night so I'll share a funny story with you that I'm sure most of you can say, "yep, been there"....LOL  I had this card all done and decided it needed a couple of ice cream cones.  I just knew I had some already colored somewhere in my stash, but after looking for about an hour, no could find.  Next step was to try and find the darn stamp.  Another  almost 2 hours going through all of my EB stamps before I finally found it, then had to stamp and color them.........  Do you have any idea how many stamps I've found that haven't been inked yet????? OMG,  it's scary!  Think I may just get them all out and stamp them then there will always be plenty to color when I get in one of those coloring only moods.....LOL

That's it from me for now.  I want to thank you for stopping by to visit and hope you will come back again soon.  Have a fantastic week!

OH dear!
I DO know all about looking for something!
Also about stamps that haven't been inked!
Yet I keep buying them!
I have inked & colored some....but not enought to make a dent!
Great 'boy' card!
The colors are fabulous, and the image is great!

Great card Carol with a super image, I seem to spend more time looking for things than making anything these days, especially after having a "tidy-up". Enjoy your day.

Carol, I love your color combo! Fabulous coloring, too. You were absolutely right about the little ice cream cones as embellies and, no matter how much time it took, they are worth it. I certainly can identify with your story about finding all those un-inked stamps, but I hate to admit that. Remember how "necessary" they seemed when we bought them? lol
