This card was made for the challenge at Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge Blog and I hope you all like it.  The challenge is Love, Hearts, Hearts, and More Hearts.  Perfect challenge for Valentine's Day.  I've had this image colored for a few days but wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it until tonight.  Nothing like waiting until almost the last minute to get it done.....   Have been diligently working on my Copics class and homework.  I think I'm learning something but boy, it takes a lot of practice and I'm still a long way from where I want to be.

The DP is from my stash last year and sorry to say I don't remember where I got it or the name of it.  The die is one I just got from Memory Box and I love it. I used the hearts that were cut out from the die colored and added to the border along with the flowers from WOC, doily heart also from stash.

Valentine Day Love

It's Saturday night and we just finished watching the "Border War" basketball game between Missouri and Kansas.  GO TIGERS!!! YEAH--WE WON!!! This could be the last border war game ever as Missouri is moving from the Big 12 Conference to the SEC.  What history these two schools have and I know the rivalry will be missed by all.  It all dates clear back to the Civil War when most of Missouri and Kansas were on opposite sides and the sports rivalry continues on.

Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend and that none of you are experiences the tremendous snow storm to the north of us.  We got a little rain and just a dusting.  We really need the moisture but do not want near a much as Colorado, Kansas, and Nebraska got.  So another big storm we missed!!!

Have to laugh at myself.  I got this wild hair to start doing more digital scrapbooking, which I can do, but I can't do one from scratch with Corel PrintShop so my page didn't work and I've been diligently trying to learn how to use the program.  Well, got burned out on that idea for now.........LOL  Also been working on my Copic class at CMC.  Time to get back to creating and quit stressing my brain.

I found this cute digi stamp named Kisses Cammy at Pretty Little Stamps, formerly Gurlee Girl and decided she would be perfect for a Valentine Day card.  I got two other ones and can't wait to get them colored up.  They are just adorable!  If you want to see these beautifully colored images hop on over to the CLP Challenge Blog and you will have a chance win 3 images for playing along.

Can you believe January is almost over???  YIKES.....Valentines Day will be here in two weeks and tax time is rapidly approaching.  Just finished up everything for the accountant today since our appointment is Thursday. Hoping we get a refund this year so I can go do some more craft shopping.......LOL

Finally figured out how to post in Google Chrome.  Oh Geez! Sometimes life can be so challenging...LOL

This is gonna be quick cause I got to get up at 5:30 a.m. Don't remember getting up this early since I retired but I'm sure at one point or the other I have.  Everything used on this card is from my stash and the image is from the Spring Kit 2010 by Elisabeth Bell, collection for Whiff of Joy.  Colored with Copics.

Totally Confused - Testing

Just a quick post to let you know I'm having nightmare computer problems.  Could not leave comments on various blogs and was being told IE does not support some features in Blogger.  SOOOOOOO, I downloaded and installed Mozilla, still had the same problem.  Now I've downloaded Google Chrome and finally able to stop by and leave one comment this morning.  This has been going on for several days now so if I haven't been by, you know why.

Will be taking my laptop in to get it checked out to make sure I don't have a lot of conflicting problems with it along with the desktop too which is even worse condition........LOL  Boy, when I screw something up I'm really good at it.  I need a live-in computer technician!  Going have to figure out Chrome now.  Be back with a card later today if nothing goes wrong here.

Cupid Girl Is On Her Way

Hi Everyone,  I got so absorbed in my new Copics class and practicing some new techniques and color combinations I've not checked in for a few days to see what's going on or play in any challenges.  Me bad! 

I've used some of the new shading techniques (for me they are new), new color combinations.

Got this adorable image I from The Paper Shelter along with some digi papers to make a thank you card for a dear friend of mine who doesn't like a lot of fuss and boy, was it hard not to really embellish this cutie.  Oh how I'm lovin these adorable and whimsical images.  They are so fun to work with!  The previous card I created using one of their digi's made Top 5 at Creatalicious Challenges.  Judy emailed me today to let me know and I was in 7th heaven.  Thank you CC for choosing my card for Top 5 and thanks Judy for letting me know.

Challenges and Exciting News

Happy Sunday Evening!!  What a glorious weekend it has been.  Went to Kansas City yesterday and did some shopping then met the kids at a fantastic Italian restaurant named Bravo's to celebrate our anniversary.  We ate, opened our gifts, and got to play with Lilly the whole time.  Took a short walk around to see the gorgeous Christmas Tree and lights on every tree on the streets.  The weather was so mild and it was such a beautiful evening.  Ok, enough about that..........lol

A few days ago I received an email titled "Angels" and followed the directions, never know if it's a fluke or a real thing.  Well, it must have been the real thing because I won the Free Copic class with Suzanne Dean from Renkata.  Doesn't get any better than this dear friends.  I hope all of you that might have received the angel email from someone that something wonderful and spectacular has occurred in your life.  If so, please let me know your good news regardless who sent it to you.

Polka Dot Girl - Spots & Stripes

I've always thought Karen at Karen's Doodles (spots & stripes challenge) had the cutest children images along with many others so I decided to start using the ones I have.  Amazing how many digi's we collect and then they sit idle on our computers cause we get distracted easily, at least I do......lol  Nope, no New Year's resolutions by me cause I never seem able to keep them.  So, I've set some goals for this year, short term, cause life has a way of getting in the way sometimes.  I had planned to enter this into the Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge but the link was closed, (sobs) another missed opportunity. 

I've had this DP for ages and apologize for not remembering where I got it.  The copper is left over from my grandsons wedding invitations 2 years ago.  What does that tell ya.....Yep, guess you could say I'm a paper hoarder.  Colored with Copics, added a doily, flower, and gems from my stash and a Cheery Lynn flourish die.  Lots of stickles so I hope you can see the glitter and the shine of the copper in the DP.

ps. Yesterday we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and today in my 69th birthday so we are headed out dinner and then a party with the kids on Saturday. 

Oh my, I hope the next 25 don't go as fast as the last 25.
