Love Grows Here

Please accept my apology for not posting to my blog more often. My husband has cancer and time is precious. I love blog hopping to see what's happening, what's new, and getting inspiration from all the other bloggers. Now things are settling down a little bit and I hope to be able to spend a little more time card making and sharing.

The camera is finally fixed and here are one of my recent cards. The stamp is from WOJ Summer Kit. The images were colored using copics (sorry, I forgot which ones I used). The flourishes were cut using the Cuttlebug and Spellbinders nestabilities. I just love the procelain paper for the backgrounds and the way they coordinate. Flowers are by prima flowers. The bouquet is "Summer" Flower Soft.

This is my first time doing the inside of a card but it will get better as time goes on.
Thank you for visiting and I hope you'll come back soon.

Wishing you were here!

Wishing you were here!

Yahooooo!!!!!!!!! After 3 days of trying I finally got the picture of the card scanned and loaded correctly. You have no idea how many times I've deleted and redone this entry.....

My inspiration for the "Wishing" card comes from missing my granddaughter in Texas. She's such a cutie.

The background on the card is "clouds" and "grass" from DCWV.
The wishing well stamp came from Flower Soft and Willow came from WOJ. The coloring was done using Copic markers and Sepia glitter pens. I'm sorry the glitter on her clothes and headband don't show up better in the picture but I sure had fun adding some "glitz" to that cute outfit. Flower Soft "Heather" was used for the flowers on the wishing well and in Willow's basket. The sentiment was created on my computer, cut and embossed with Spellbinder's small scalloped rectangle.

Please email me if you have questions.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you come back soon!

Below are the copics I used for colouring the wishing well and Willow.

Thank goodness I finally have a blog developed! It seems to have taken me forever to figure this blogging out but I think I have the hang of it now.

Tomorrow (or should I say later today) I will post a card using one of Whiff of Joys spring stamps.

Thank you for bearing with a blank blog for so long. Hope to see you here tomorrow.

Oops! I almost forgot to let you know to hop on over to Katharina Frei's blog to check this great "CANDY" WoJ / Elisabeth Bell Summer Stamp Kit Candy!!
